If you are business minded, we are here to support you. Our business community is a mix of long established businesses that have been here for generations and new entrepreneurial endeavors that are positioning themselves to concur the economy of tomorrow. Our award winning Chamber of Commerce was ranked as the best in the state in 2018 and we are ready to vie for that title again in 2019. This is a great place to do business and to be a part of the Northern Michigan Economy.
Our location within the Great Lakes also makes us an ideal location as a Great Lakes Shipping Port and the Home Port of the mighty Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw. We are proud that for 75 years the Mackinaw has called us home.
The common thread though that runs through everything here in Cheboygan is the people. Our Hospitality and welcoming nature is second to none. So, what do all those phrases have in common?
