Ken Verheecke has been performing since 1978. He played in a variety of bands throughout the 80’s and in 1993, he quit his job of 13 years and began touring full time. At one point performing approx. 150 events a year. In recent years, he become quite successful as a instrumental guitarist and has see over 170,000 album downloads in Europe and Asia. He has been featured on Sampler CD’s by Many Miles Music, Best New Age Reviews Guitar Sampler featuring some of the world's best guitarists. In 2012 Ken was featured on Will Ackerman’s (Founder of Windham Hill) Sampler CD The Gathering which won Album of the Year at the ZMR Awards. Ken’s CD release First Light was nominated for the 2016 Best Acoustic Guitar Release OWMR Awards in Europe. During the summer of 2017 Ken signed with US Based Heart Dance Records and his first two releases with Heart Dance “Consider the Moon & Stars” and “Between Earth & Sky” are on the ballot box for nominations for the upcoming 61st Grammy Awards. Ken blends stories and songs that acoustic based which appeal to a wide range of audiences.
