    Event Description:

    Invest Cheboygan is a Business Pitch Competition for businesses that are 2 years or newer or a brand new business idea.  Contestants compete for $18,000 in prize money!  Judges will award the top 3 places and the audience has the opportunity to vote for a People’s Choice winner.  In addition to prize money, the top 3 places will receive a tiered package from the local Chambers of Commerce, Black Diamond Broadcasting, and the Cheboygan Daily Tribune.  While the judges deliberate, there will be a networking opportunity for presenters to mingle with potential investors.  To reserve your (free) seat to this event, visit:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/invest-cheboygan-county-registration-48950682810

    Guided Bicycle Trail Ride

     

    Ride the North Central State Trail to the Barbara 

    Hoffius Preserve and Back

     

     

    Hoffius Preserve Bicycle Ride Tour

    By Cheboygan Trails Council

     

    Beginning at  8;30 am at Festival Square Jim Conboy  will lead a bike ride north on the North Central State Trail  to and back from the Hoffius Preserve just off US 23. The total round trip  distance is 15 1/2 miles. A volunteer will sweep to make sure no one is left behind. Once at the Preserve bikes will be left at the entrance,  with a volunteer,  and riders will  walk about 1/2 mile down  to the shore of Lake Huron where the beauty of the Lake can be appreciated. Total time 2 3/4 to 3hours. 

     

    While the trail is flat, riders should be prepared to ride the distance comfortably.  It is not a ride for young children. Since the path to the shore of Lake Huron includes steps and uneven ground, comfortable walking shoes are advised. Helmets are encouraged.

     

    It would be appreciated if you would sign up for the ride though that is not required to participate.
